A very nice hotel in the center of the old city

Posted 18-Mar-2016
Well taken care of--by all ! Beautiful 5th floor top of the building--great views. Excellent breakfast, with a distinguished head waiter. Very gracious woman at the front desk who helped often and very well. The comfort and convenient location of this hotel was a very important part of a great visit to the Old City of Cartagena.

Nice hotel, great location

Posted 07-Mar-2016
This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Great air conditioning, warm water, balcony, comfortable beds. This hotel was in a great location, right in the center of the walled city. Close to everything. The staff was very helpful with giving directions and recommending restaurants and places you want to visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Small boutique hotel, friendly staff, good locatio

Posted 04-Mar-2016
our stay was quite nice. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was included in our reservation which was nice. The room was standard size and clean. Location wise it's a block and a half from one of the main squares and in surrounded by some of the best restaurants and shops in the walled city. My only disappointment was the lack of coordination of the airport transfer. The driver left before we finished coming through customs and the hotel wanted to charge us for it!

Find another hotel!

Posted 22-Feb-2016 on Hotels
The hotel appears 'nice enough' on the website...but don't let the pretty pictures fool you. It is not nearly as charming as portrayed. The staff was nice enough and friendly...but that was the end of the good part. The bed was so hard it would have been no different than sleeping on a sheet on the floor. I should have clued into the cleanliness of the room when I noticed that the window appeared frosted but was simply filthy. But the worst part was the plethora of 'bug bites' that were visible the next morning. We addressed this issue to the front desk and were offered another room...the only option for me was to find another hotel (which we did). There was no refund offered (not that I expected it), but you'd think that 'bed bugs' would prompt an 'unusual occasion' and an offer to refund. Nope. My advice: find another hotel. I feel bad for writing this review (i'm normally quite a positive person) but I think that perhaps it will help the hotel in the long run to provide better service to its customers. Until then, stay away.

Small hotel in excellent location

Posted 12-Feb-2016
The rooms are very small, especially when you booked a room with two single beds. However, the hotel is lovely, the staff accommodating, and the location is perfect. There is also a roof terrace which is perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing

Great location.Centrally located- the walled city

Posted 09-Feb-2016
Pros: Location.
Location: The walled city has much to see. Restaurants were great. Cultural activities, outdoor squares with dancing and music. Museums.
The hotel was nice. Room was small but clean. Not a lot of light. Breakfast was good with the eggs made to order. Sorry it did not have pool!

Hospedar-me-ia novamente!

Posted 08-Feb-2016 on Hotels
