"Having the use of the pool was great for all of us, the children loved being able to use it when we arrived and in the morning before breakfast. The breakfast was good and staff friendly, the room was looking a little tired but clean and the grounds very nice."

"Very clean n fresh even the restaurant. Staff go above and beyond. nothing too much trouble professional polite at all times most welcoming easy transactions. Relaxed atmosphere. Not noisy. Food always hot when ordered. Breakfast plenty inc. Massive car park. Easy to get buses. Trains trams but book on line as most fares are cheaper."

"Parking can be a bit of a nightmare if arriving during normal hours. The hotel itself meets all expectations of what you get at a budget-friendly, might want to take an extension lead no plugs near the bed only on the opposite wall. For example if you wanted to sit in bed with your phone on charge. The service station itself next to it is very limited to a burger king WH Smith Costa and noodle bar the breakfast bar is open in the morning but did not have this. So any form of healthy eating is that the window. But the views from the window counteract my previous statements"

"Lovely hotel room but the corridors and stairwell is in need of repair and maintenance. Holes in the walls, chipped paint. My room was lovely, large modern shower with coffee machine, water and tunnock wafers. Lovely treat! Ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The local area is quite run down/rough. I was here for work"

"Hotel was used as a base to commute to Edinburgh for concert and see seeing. Bedroom was clean and tidy Staff wee helpful Didn't use bar or restaurant"

"Just an overnight stay for the airport Had dinner with them and it was excellent the waiter Pepe (I think) was fabulous coped wonderfully when 35+ turned up and he was on his own"
