"This is quite a quirky hotel with room across several different Victorian terraced houses (so you have to go outside to get the reception or to the restaurant and there are no lifts). But it's in a great location on the river Ness (great for a post-dinner walk) and we had a lovely double-aspect room with river views and a fabulous giant bathroom (itself with river view and a great shower). The stairwell up to our room was rather tatty, but the room itself was well furnished. Staff were very helpful (even carrying a heavy case up to our room) but dinner service in the restaurant was terribly slow. But breakfast was good - all self-service."
