Fuorlovado40 was an absolute gem! It’s central to everything on Capri. Coffee, gelato, dining are all steps away. Our room was beautiful and the bed/pillows were excellent. We were on the ground floor and had a nice private terrace with a couch which we used morning and evening. Our room had coffee and lots of nice goodies, all gratis. Antonio was the perfect host. He was charming and full of information and recommendations for things to do during our stay. The restaurants he recommended were excellent. We will stay here again when we return to Capri! Unfortunately we were only in capri for one night but Antonio was a great host. Upon arriving he greeted us and got us into our room and there was a welcoming gift waiting for us. He was extremely knowledgeable of the island and provided great recommendations and was also a great resource to be able to contact on WhatsApp if we had any questions. The place was also very nice and well-kept up. Thanks again Antonio!

This lovely guest house on Capri is a gem! Located a short four minute walk from the very center of Capri, the Piazzetta, the Fuorlovado 40 guest house (the name is the same as its address) is clean, equipped with modern conveniences (WiFi; good water pressure; efficient A/C; with a nice little private terrace) and conveniently located near the heart of Capri for shopping, dining, or beautiful walks overlooking the sea along Capri’s south shore. The best part of our stay was the friendly and informative communication with the guest house manager, Antonio, who provided a helpful stream of information via WhatsApp about our reservation and our stay. Antonio helpfully arranged for us to leave our bags at the guest house in the morning after we arrived on an early ferry from Sorrento. That arrangement worked perfectly, and we were able to explore Anacapri with day-tripping friends until mid-afternoon. We then returned to the guest house, where Antonio greeted us with a small welcome basket of drinks and treats, along with his personal recommendations on places to eat, drink, or get the best views on Capri. He is a gracious and amiable host, with friendly and informed advice about how to enjoy a stay on this beautiful island. For our departure date, Antonio arranged convenient and seamless luggage pickup from our room that was reasonable and reliable. Our only regret is that we had just one night to stay in Capri -- we hope to return for two or three nights next time

I had a lovely stay. Antonio gave me and my sister a bunch of recommendations before and during our stay. I never had a place do that before. He was so nice. I highly recommend staying here it was clean, modern, and in a great location.

Great host, loved that he left some gifts and a bottle of Prosecco. The mini bar had plenty of complimentary drinks. We were only there for one night but enjoyed our stay. Walkable to all the shops and lots of places to eat. Very nice room and big bathroom. It also had a small patio. Would definitely stay here again!

Little gem in Capri
This is a great property in the middle of town. Super conveniente location to walk everywhere. Antonio was a delight, very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us with recommendations, book reservations for dinner, and hold our bags on checkout date. Great communication, very clean and modern. This place is a total win when visiting Capri.

We absolutely loved staying here! Antonio was beyond helpful. He let us check in early and store our bags until 6PM the following day which gave us tons of flexibility in our schedule and let us enjoy Capri for two whole days while only needing a hotel for one night. He also went above and beyond by recommending amazing places to eat and things to do and gifted us with some local treats and champagne. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Amazing and one if the best stays in Italy!
Absolutely amazing stay!! We loved it from the minute we arrived until last moment! Location is everything and we were in the middle of all the action, everything was walking distance. The room was incredible, super clean, modern with an outside terrace, we had welcoming drinks and snacks. The host - Antonio was the best, such a pleasure to meet him, he was so welcoming, sweet, professional and helpful. We got all restaurant recommendations from him and even reservations. He gave us tips for shopping, get around and all perks offered. We are going back to Capri soon and when we will, we definitely will stay there again. The price point and comfort of Fuorlovado can not be beaten!!

The Best Stay and Personal Service in Capri
Our visit to Capri and our stay at Fuorlovado 40 was truly magical! We had read previous reviews and can completely agree with the 10 star review. The location of Fuorlovado is perfect - a short walk from the square and plenty of restaurants and cafes along the way. Antonio the host was exceptional! he provided us with directions on where to meet when he arrived - carried our luggage for us to our room. The room was so nice! much larger than the picture. Modern updates, large bed, huge bathroom and the little coffee bar and mini fridge with free drinks (water, coke and beer) was a nice treat! He took the time to show us a map and made notes of all the places to see, sent us a text of all the restaurant recommendations and made all of our reservations for us. We asked about a boat tour and he was able to get us a private tour the same day we arrived and it was incredible (and so well priced!) His service was top notch and made the visit so much more enjoyable, he's your own personal concierge and tour guide Wish we could him part of all of our travels! If you plan to visit Capri, highly recommend staying at Fuorlovado 40, as I know we'll certainly be back again!

Our stay at Fuorlovado 40 was great, the room was clean and modern and in a great location, a short walk to the Piazzetta, Gardens of Augustus, restaurants, shopping, via Camerelle, etc. Antonio the host was very nice, provided great information and recommendations on places to go and assisted with reservations, don't hesitate to book this place if available, I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Capri.

We loved our stay at Fuorlovado 40!! We did one night in Capri while traveling the amalfi coast. We arrived by ferry at around 10am and were able to leave our bags with them while we explored and waited for our room to be cleaned. Antonio was great at communicating and so kind and helpful. He gave us so many great recommendations! The room itself was great, so clean and great amenities. We are so happy we stayed here and will come back again!!

Our stay here was wonderful. Unit is located a few min walk from the main piazza just past all the crowds which made the location perfect. Room was comfortable and clean and our host explained the whole island perfectly. This is 100% where I will try to stay on my next trip to Capri. If you arrive by Ferry immediately go to the ticket office when you get off to get a 2 euro ticket for the cable car. Take that up to the main piazza and simply walk a couple hundred meters to the unit. Definitely utilize your host he helped us with everything from Hikes to boat rentals to reservations. 10/10 for us.

Everything was amazing. The place, the atmosphere... Antonio is one of the best hosts I have ever seen. He was always helpful, easy to communicate. One of then best stays I had in a long time
One of the best stays I had in a long time. The apartment is great and very clean. But what made it over the top was my host Antonio, who explained every little detail of the town, gave me the best recommendations for dinner, shopping, you name it! Even help me with my transportation in and out the island. Also left some typical Capri candy that were delicious. Very nice touch Thank you!

This property was awesome, so quiet, clean and well designed. Antonio, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our contact at the property, Antonio, was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. He gave us a map of the island and highlighted places to see and dine. He also gave us contact information for a couple of private tours by boat. He kept our room well supplied and surprised us by leaving a bottle of sparkling wine and special snacks on our last day there. We highly recommend this B&B that is right off the Piazzetta.

Our stay at Fuorlovado 40 was an amazing experience. Antonio was so attentive even before we arrived. He answered my questions by email and text immediately throughout our journey there as well as during our stay. He met us in Piazzetta di Capri to personally take us to the hotel. He made it feel as though we were staying with family. The outdoor patio was charming complete with seating, coffee bar, and mini bar at our disposal. Antonio helped us to navigate our visit with maps and friendly conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time at 40 Fuorlovado!! Antonio was a wonderful host. The check-in and check-out process was very easy, and he shared a lot of great recommendations for restaurants, activities, and places to catch a great view of Capri. He was really great communicator who answered any of our questions about things to do on the island. The location is really central which was great for walking around to restaurants, the buses or Funicular, and the bed was the most comfortable we slept on in Italy without a doubt. We’d recommend staying here to anyone visiting!

Location location location!! Very convenient just steps from Piazza.. This is no a hotel with a reception, but Giuseppe did more than a 5 start receptionist do, he provide all information you need to get around the island, what restaurant are the best, tours etc… I regret I couldn’t stay longer…. Very nice room with a small terraza for a nice coffe or wine time.
