"The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. "Lovely cottage, in a truely wonderful location. This home is rather arty and unique. Tastefully restored with love by the owner. It is small but plenty big enough for one mum and a lanky son. We thought it could have been a little cleaner; crumbs under cushions, sticky balcony, but as my son said "not bad enough to complain about". "My family had a great time at the Glain Orme. It was my husband, three children (ages 6,8,10), my mother-in-law and her friend. Due to pet restrictions, my father-in-law had to stay at the Grand Hotel with the dog. Overall our stay was excellent, and the accommodations were great.
