Perfect Beach House
This is our 2nd 10-day stay here. The house is 1 minute's walk from Hout Bay Beach, has views across the bay, is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Communication throughout has been perfect. The host is very friendly and helpful. Secure parking in front of the property and two supermarkets a few minutes' walk away, several good quality local dining options and Chapman's Peak Drive is on the doorstep. Hout Bay Beach itself is long, sandy and surprisingly quiet. It feels like a locals beach, not touristy, maybe 50% dog-walkers. Daily morning and sunset beach walks are a must-do treat. Great breakfasts in the café downstairs and sunset suppers at Dunes just along the beach. The bright lights of Camps Bay and Cape Town 30 mins spectacular drive along the coast, while the Constantia wineries are even closer. For us, the perfect location to relax. We'll be back again for sure.

Superb Hout Bay apartment
We loved the apartment. A beautiful well decorated place full of nice touches like back up power to provide lighting, internet and tv during load shedding. The location was excellent, not overlooked, minutes from the beach, close to shops and a selection of bars and restaurants. A great place to stay.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location
This is a wonderful place to stay with beautiful views of Hout Bay, Chapman‘s Peak, and the Sentinel. Short walking distance to lots of amenities and restaurants. The property is well-maintained, comfortable, and secure. Highly recommended and we look forward to staying here again in the near future.

We were in the middle of our two week holiday, and thought a house would be great. This was a prefect fit. Gym below for my son, plenty of restaurants & grocery stores. Awesome host.

A Great Choice for all types of holiday
The property is exactly as shown on the website - no disappointments or artful exaggerations. The views to the Bay and Chapman's Peak are wonderful and will lift your spirits no matter how you're feeling. The location could not be bettered. There are several good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk; two wine and spirits shops and food outlets including the amazing Woolworths food hall. For those who like to cook the quality of meat,fish, vegetables and fruit is outstanding. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, utensils, cutlery and crockery. With, or even without a car, Cape Town is very reachable. Having a car is best and all of the Cape Peninsula is easily explored including Simonstown. Also close by are the Kirstenbosch Gardens and alternative beaches at Camps Bay. Iona was both charming and efficient. There was a small glitch with the hot water which was dealt with immediately and personally. All in all highly recommended!

Summer Breeze @ Chapmans Peak Drive
Wie schon 2017 war Iona eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Das Apartment ein Traum, sehr gepflegt und geräumig. Der Ausblick vom Balkon: grandios! Wir hatten erneut eine tolle Zeit in Hout Bay und empfehlen diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiter.

Schöne Aussicht und beste Lage
Der Aufenthalt von Zwei Wochen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben Kapstadt und die Umgebung erkundet. Von Hout Bay ist man sehr schnell sowohl in Kapstadt als auch am Kap der guten Hoffnung. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.

A fantastic stay of two weeks
We rented this appartement with a beautiful sea view in a very safe complex with a great bar and restaurant just down below. Everything that you need (restaurant, supermarket, massage…and of course the beach) in a walking distance. Hout Bay is very central to all the best places in Cape Town. Our host Iona was very nice and helpful; we highly recommend !!!

Fantastische Wohnung mit Meerblick
Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in dieser Wohnung in Hout Bay. Sehr nette Vermieterin, mit der wir unkompliziert über WhatsApp schreiben konnten. Schon im Vorfeld war sie jederzeit ansprechbar und half uns bei unseren Fragen. Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht an und wurden schon von Iona erwartet. Nach einer Woche gab es sogar eine Zwischenreinigung und frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen! Liebe Grüße Caren

Urlaub aus dem Bilderbuch
Bei Bildern wie bei diesem Objekt hat man ja immer ein bißchen Angst, dass es geschönt ist. Aber genau das ist hier nicht der Fall. Es war alles wie versprochen und wir konnten beim Frühstück in der Bucht Delphine beobachten.

Wunderbares Appartement in bester Lage

Wunderschön und mittendrin
Das Appartment ist grossartig. Gesichert durch allerlei Türen, auch das Auto steht sicher, ist die Wohnung grosszügig und lässig eingerichtet. Kamin vorhanden, Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Tolle Betten, kleiner Pool im Komplex, zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurants nur ein Katzensprung. Woolworth und Pick and Pay um die Ecke. Kurz: perfekte Wohnung, um Hout Bay, Noordhoek und CapeTown zu erkunden. wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Schöne Wohnung, schöne Lage
Leider aufgrund der Stufen bis zur Eingangstür und einer 180 Grad gewendelten Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern für uns um "75" nicht optimal. Im Internet sollte ein entsprechender Hinweis sein.

'Spectacular' it says...
'Spectacular' is not an overstatement for this place! We spent a great time there to explore the cape region for the very first time. Great seaviews, very good infrastructure within and around. Nothing to add. Hence, 5 stars!
