The host had terrible attitude and did not even check-in because they refused to accommodate my schedule

The following must be noted:
Guest booked as a SINGLE
Guest phoned day before arrival to advise check-in at 08.00 AM and that they were THREE Guests not just ONE.
I advised that there would be an extra charge as we charge per person.
We scheduled a very early cleaning and the room was ready at 7.55 AM - normal check in is from 14.00 - 18.00 hrs.
At 12.45 hrs on arrival day, guest phoned to say that he was on his way to STELLENBOSCH and would only be checking in much later that evening. As we had been waiting since 8.00 and are only 10 mins from Cape Town International I asked why he did not collect his keys first?
We do NOT have 24 hr check in facilities - we close at 18.00 hrs. We are sometimes able to source somebody to assist after-hours - this has an extra fee and must be arranged at least 2 days prior to arrival.
Unfortunately, this was too late notice for this extra facility. Guest became very annoyed and stated that "I will make other arrangements"
The room was kept on hold for the entire period of his booking as we expected him to return at any time.
He never contacted us again, neither did he arrive.
