We are extremely unhappy with this B&B. It is not about facilities (although there was almost no water in the shower everyday), it is due to the people and their altitude to treat customers.
Due to some missunderstanding, the manager Rose prepared us some “arrangement” in room and charged 30€ for a few unfresh flowers and one small box of low quality chocolate without informing us before our arrival. Her statement was "other honeymooners were fine with this price and you should accept it too". I didnt like the way she IMPOSED this idea to us. In fact, a professional hotel should have asked customers before their arrival whether they want to have certain arrangement for a charge or it. She kind of forced the customers to buy this “arrangement”. On the last say, she put us so much pressure and we had to pay this 30€ (otherwise my husband was really worried whether we could leave South Africa safely..)
We found it very unfair afterwards and tried to contact her later by Email and via Hotels.com to ask for a refund of 50% cost for this arrangement, as we did NOT order it at all (and hence no reason to charge us). I was really willing to find a compromise solution with Rose (therefore only 50% refund) instead of publishing such negative experience into Internet. However,despite numerous Emails from us,she IGNORED us totally - No single response to any of our messages.
It seems for this hotel some small additional income is much more important than customer satisfaction!!
