The Atlantic Beach Villa is a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay with a 5 min walk to the gorgeous sunset beach. It is a perfect place, with the most kindhearted staff, for those that are looking for a place outside of downtown Cape Town where they can relax and get out of the hustle of city life. The only aspect that I did not enjoy was the fact that other guests are allowed to smoke outside near the pool and when you have a room with an opening door/windows to the pool area and there is no air conditioning so the windows are always open, the smoke comes in and really makes avoiding second hand smoke impossible. But other than that and if you are lucky enough to stay there when there are no smokers, it is amazing!

Rose and her staff were all very friendly. The rooms are well equipped and Rose took the time to advise our group where to visit and recommended restaurants both in the local area and further afield. She also told us about the best beaches and gave us drives with wonderful scenery. The villa itself is set in a quiet residential area which is very safe and we were able to walk to restaurants and a supermarket. The breakfasts were great as well with a choice of cereal, continental and freshly prepared cooked breakfasts including beautiful omelettes. Now we have the red soil of Africa is on the soles of our feet ...we will return!!

For me this was home away from home. From the moment I arrived and was met by Stephanie who was so friendly through to meeting the owners and the other guests. The whole visit was a wonderful experience and certainly one which I am sure I will enjoy again very soon. My room was spotless, breakfast was an amazing experience and the omlettes are to die for... I am certain that Stephanie's omelette was far better than Roses but only because I didn't get the chance to sample the latter. Thanks guys for a wonderful experience.. One which I hope I can reciprocate with in St Helena sometime.

Rose and her staff are not only friendly, but so caring, thoughtful and informative. Such an amazing staff and property. The villa is located about a 15 minute drive to VA waterfront, inexpensive uber will get you to the city center within minutes.

Fabulous place with a lovely atmosphere. Rosie and her husband were kind and helpful. The area is a little away from main Cape Town but I loved that and there is so much to explore with a gorgeous beach 3 minutes at the end of the road. Perfect for a gorgeous sunset and wine.

Best place in Capetown
We stayed at the Atlantic Villa Resort for 10 days and it was absolutely fabulous. The location was beautiful the rooms were comfortable as well. The reason i chose this place was from the previous reviews and i have to say they were right on point. Rose was an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble her omelettes are to die for and she has a brilliant sense of humor. If we needed any help with absolutely anything she would be there to help us out.If you need any advice on where to eat what tours to do she had information on all of it. If we ever go back to Capetown that is the only place i will stay and i cant recommend this place highly enough, in the words of Molly Meldrum Do YOURSELF A FAVOUR you certainly wont regret it the Atlantic Villa Resort is #1 for a reason. Grace & Brenda are on hand to help you out with anything you need in your room as well and Rose's husband Dex is good for a laugh & a chat. I thoroughly enjoyed my tome and i know anyone that stays there will too. Cheers Lindsay & Clancy

Excellent stay! Breakfast was fantastic, cooked to order eggs, sausages, bacon, tomatos, omelettes, yogurt, fruit. Rose and Dix were SO helpful in planning excursions to Cape of Good Hope and shark cage diving. I HIGHLY recommend!

Like staying with family!
Beautiful place to stay. 3 min walk to the beach. Amazing hostess! Ms Rose went out of her way to help with reservations for restaurants and numerous other things. She is truly a gem! I used Uber from there to the city and everywhere else. It was very convenient and economical. Great WIFI connection!

Fantastic hosts, great location.
The hosts are absolutely wonderful people who made us feel welcomed and assisted us considerably during our stay. The villa is comfortable and situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The beach is within walking distance (5mins max) and is a must see. I would highly recommend the villa. Exceptional value for the cost.

Perfect place to stay just a short drive from Cape Town and its attractions, close enough to the Winelands, Durbanville and Constantia especially, for easy day trips, and, for us, perfect base for Kitesurfing Tableview/Sunset Beach/Bloubergstrand/Big Bay. Safe and very lovely neighborhood too. The couple that owns/manages the inn couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and have a super staff as well. I'd rate our stay a ten if I could and I'm sure you will as well.

Excellent B&B with super welcoming hosts !
We staid at Rose's B&B for 4 nights and felt at home as soon as we arrived thanks to Rose and her husband's great hospitality and very good breakfasts cooked by Rose every morning ! We staid in many B&Bs in SA and this was by far our best experience ! Thank you !

Classy, relaxed but wonderful accomodation!
Where to start: This has to be one of the best places that I have ever stayed in, if I had a problem it was that it spoilt me for the rest of my holiday in South Africa. Rose and her team of happy helpers make the holiday experience top class, from the personalised service at breakfast to the freedom with which they give ideas and suggestions for things to do during the day I had 5 wonderful days there and, to borrow the phrase, "I'll be back". More than anything, the relaxed, classy atmosphere gave one the feeling of relaxing a the home of a good friend - 10/10 in my book!

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, eine tolle Service Cefin Colleen. Sehr sauber mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr hilfsbereit beim buchen für Touren. Nach Cape Town mit dem Uber ( App für Taxis ) für unter 5€ erreichbar. Kleines Manko - kein direktes Geschäft fussläufig erreichbar aber mit Uber in 3 min fahrt für 2€ ( Paddocks Einkaufszentrum ). Kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen 👌

Tolles, familiäres Hotel mit supernetter Gastgeberin, samt Ehemann und aufmerksamen Team. Und auch den kleinen entzückenden Haushund ( wird nur bei Hundefreunden rausgelassen) Bailey haben wir liebgewonnen. Rose hilft Einem, wo sie helfen kann (hatte aufgrund Aufregung leichtes Magenflattern und leichtes Unwohlsein, Rosé wollte mich schon zum Arzt oder ins Krankenhaus fahren). Auch gute Ausflugstips gibt sie. Wir haben uns bei ihr richtig wohl gefühlt. Zum Strand ( Sunset Beach) sind es nur 5 Minuten und die Umgebung ist sehr sicher und ruhig. Schön. Erholsam. Wohlfühlunterkunft
Wir fanden diese Unterkunft mehr als sehr gut. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden sehr familiär versorgt und bekocht (Frühstück). Die Omelettes von Rose sind spitze ;-) Und die Tipps von Rose für Ausflüge jeglicher Art sind unbezahlbar. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder !!!!!

Fantastico. Uma pousada familiar atendida pelos proprietarios, Rose e seu marido com uma equipe show. A localizacao é em um bairro residencial a 3 minutos da praia. E a 2 min. da rodovia que liga a capetown 10 minutinhos. Aeroporto a 20min. A pousada é hiper limpa toda organizada com muito bom gosto. Vale a pena.

Watch out this place! Our worst hotel experience..
We are extremely unhappy with this B&B. It is not about facilities (although there was almost no water in the shower everyday), it is due to the people and their altitude to treat customers. Due to some missunderstanding, the manager Rose prepared us some “arrangement” in room and charged 30€ for a few unfresh flowers and one small box of low quality chocolate without informing us before our arrival. Her statement was "other honeymooners were fine with this price and you should accept it too". I didnt like the way she IMPOSED this idea to us. In fact, a professional hotel should have asked customers before their arrival whether they want to have certain arrangement for a charge or it. She kind of forced the customers to buy this “arrangement”. On the last say, she put us so much pressure and we had to pay this 30€ (otherwise my husband was really worried whether we could leave South Africa safely..) We found it very unfair afterwards and tried to contact her later by Email and via Hotels.com to ask for a refund of 50% cost for this arrangement, as we did NOT order it at all (and hence no reason to charge us). I was really willing to find a compromise solution with Rose (therefore only 50% refund) instead of publishing such negative experience into Internet. However,despite numerous Emails from us,she IGNORED us totally - No single response to any of our messages. It seems for this hotel some small additional income is much more important than customer satisfaction!!

MANAGEMENT RESPONSE When we started at this guesthouse almost 2 years ago, we had one goal in mind - to offer guests a truly memorable experience. We never imagined we would have to respond to a review such as this. We agree that we were requested to place an arrangement in the room. We have done this for a number of guests with happy feedback. When you checked in, you were shown the cost of the arrangement. At the time of check out, the extras had to be settled and the cost of the arrangement was confirmed and added to the total. Your husband settled the full amount by credit card. After the transaction was finalised, you exploded in rage. Shouting and screaming at Rose and your husband kept telling you that he was happy to pay for the arrangement. You then spent many minutes in our lounge shouting at your husband too - and in front of another guest! Your husband even kindly apologized to Rose before he left. Rose feels violated and traumatized by your unacceptable behaviour. This is the reason we chose not to respond to your emails of apology and requests to credit a portion of the charge. It was never about the money! Usually, we would never hesitate to reimburse a guest. Something good has come from this though! We learnt a valuable lesson and will, from now on, give our guests a quote upfront for requested arrangements. For other guests that read this, we urge you to read the reviews from other guests to get a sense of how you will be looked after if you choose to stay with us. Ein sehr schönes, sauberes und freundliches Hotel. Das Ehepaar die das Hotel mit sechs Zimmern leiten, sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wird auf Wunsch zubereitet wie man es möchte, so war es zumindestens bei uns. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Meer entfernt. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Rose, the manager was very friendly and helpful. Good travel tips, Table Mountain absolutely to book online if you do not like to queue twice. Very quiet location, although there is a busy road slightly north of the building. Good breakfast selection. Ideal place for a longer stay with own vehicle.
