I liked having a kettle and fridge in the room. Sea point is a convenient location - easily walkable. Good value for the price - would stay here again! "

The staff were very warm and welcoming and I felt safe as a lone female traveller. its a great location for the beaches...a quiet peaceful area. I would highly recommend Ashby manor. Wonderful views and Liesel is a super host. "

"Excellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! "

"We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. No guestbook re: restaurant times,...
