"Staff were lovely - very welcoming. Room was clean and well equipped. It was fantastic having 2 linked rooms to share as a family. We stayed in August and it was very hot without air conditioning. We couldn't prop the window open to cool the room and despite comfortable beds none of us slept well. The breakfast in the morning was expensive and the pineapple was fizzy/acoholic/off."

Fresh oysters pulled straight from the sea await at waterfront stalls along Cancale's picturesque harbour. Climb to the Pointe du Grouin headland for breathtaking views of Mont-Saint-Michel Bay and the emerald coastline.
Needed a hotel close to St Malo for an early crossing following a week in the Vendee. Didn't fancy the 5.30am start it would have taken to reach the ferry the same morning.
Superb hotel. Incredible diner. Excellent service.
Also had time to visit nearby Cancale which was an unexpected pleasure.
Highly recommend this hotel if you're around the st Malo/Nth East Brittany area, particularly if you like fine food.

A real gem. On arrival the owner made us very welcome and throughout our stay he was extremely helpful. A nice, quiet, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast. The location is ideal for exploring the area. You can walk to Intra-Muros (The old town) or there is a bus stop nearby. There are also a couple of bikes you can hire from the hotel, which we did. Plenty restaurants nearby to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. An attractive small ‘slightly quirky” traditional hotel,- so much better than the modern sanitised hotel chains.Location excellent, overlooking the sea, yet close for the ferry and for the “old” town.
It was the staff however who were the stars!
Lucie at Reception was delightful and most professional, whilst in the Dining Room Eliza was simply sensational. Her bubbly personality and excellent service made our final night in France one to remember.

The location is amazing! It is a bit tricky to drive there due to restrictions during the day, but definitely worth it. The restaurant in the 5th floor was definitely great and would recommend, the view from there is 360 on the sea :) the food was delicious and service top notch. The ground level cafe/restaurant was pretty good too with quality food and good service. My only piece of feedback would be that some things were a bit tired such as carpet in the room, wallpaper and bathtub holding bar...

We've used this hotel a number of times. For the money it's perfectly acceptable. Rooms and clean and comfortable (with air con). Staff and bar area are nice. Not had the breakfast, but have no reason to assume this wouldn't be ok. Very close to the hyper market (across the car park) if you want to shop. It's a reasonably priced hotel, so perhaps the area is not that special - but we don't expect the Ritz for that money! Decent deck area to sit out and have a drink when weather is nice. One...
