The welcome was lovely and friendly. Room was great. Clean and comfy. The general areas of the hotel are decorated beautifully with lots of little touches that make it feel special. There is parking out front of the hotel but we parked on the road. There are a few great restaurants with a few minutes walk and the owners gave us some great information on others in St Malo. Special mention for the breakfast. It was excellent value, felt very personal and was served in a relaxing environment. They even packed up any of our leftovers for us to take when we asked. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden. From a very warm and friendly welcome to accommodating us with an early breakfast due to a change in ferrydeparture. Without hesitation, we would stay again and highly recommend the hotel. The breakfast itself deserves special mention. Not only was the food plentiful and varied, the exacting table setting stood head and shoulders above other hotels stayed in during our trip. Attention to detail is evident, the hotel is also so clean and at some point we look forward to returning for a longer stay.
