Might have been the time of year where they were getting away from winter temperatures to summer. Doors or some noise seemed to be slamming quite late into the night. Otherwise the pool and hot tub were pleasant as well as the attached restaurant."

"We've stayed at this hotel many times when it was branded differently. It is newly renovated and beautiful. The Nordic spa intrigues me but it's not cheap. The bed was amazing. This was a one night getaway for my husband's birthday and it was the perfect space."

"We had no idea of all the renovations, and just wanted to come here and unwind. We asked a staff member (housekeeper) where the pool was and she said it was closed, it was not. The pool area was fantastic, glad we asked the front desk. The restaurant did not have the same menu as before and there was only a pricey buffet. The food was delicious, but paid too much. Overall the stay was just ok, wished we had stayed somewhere else which was disappointing, because we usually enjoy the BPL, we could have stayed at their sister hotel for less, and enjoyed the pool. The lobby is a bit chaotic with all the tour bus people, hopefully will be done soon for other guests."
