"We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was amazing, and we had an incredible view of the Three Sisters Mountains right from our room. 🏔️ The lobby was cozy and welcoming, with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace and comfortable couches — the perfect spot to relax and unwind in the evening. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated how welcoming they were throughout our stay. On our first night, we noticed that our bathtub wasn’t draining properly. We contacted the front desk, and they immediately came up with a temporary solution that worked well enough for us to use the tub for the rest of our stay. We appreciated how quickly they responded. The property is located about 15–20 minutes from Banff and is also very convenient for tour pick-up locations, making it a great home base for exploring the area. We also found Canmore itself to be a great place to stay, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There is a dry sauna on the property, which was a nice bonus. Just keep in mind that there is no hot tub or pool. There is no restaurant on-site, but they do offer breakfast bags if ordered in advance, which is a convenient option for an early morning start. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. The location, mountain views, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff made it a great choice for our trip to the Rockies. ❤️🏔️"

"Great location, so close to city of Banff! Bus service available instead of paying for parking in Banff. Hot tub was wonderful. Hidden Ridge was very accommodating each day with any needs we had regarding towels or anything else."

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

"The resort relies on the sheer breathtaking beauty of the lake and quite justifiably. It caters for an enormous number of people from across the globe and that is obviously a challenge. Is it value for money? That depends on personal values. We are very pleased we stayed and enjoyed the experience. But the rooms nerd size, not large in other words and well equipped. The restaurant food is not much better than ok in most respects. Breakfast buffet is crammed with people all trying to get at it and the offer of tinned fruit is disappointing. The staff were marvellous apart from each restaurant at the welcome desk they seem to be over-burdened with the technology. The tablet is king! Clearly it is a hassle because they rarely smile and go heads-down straight away to allocate a table I presume. One staff member said they had been working there several weeks and still didn’t feel comfortable with the tablet. Also the food in other restaurants is acceptable with odd flashes of excellence. Ok everything has to travel a long way but I feel sure they could manage a better experience. Overall a great experience but too expensive for what it offers."
