Farmstay in Campania

Location of this property is perfect - it’s within walkable distance to the bus stop which can take you to the different locations on the island. We stayed for two nights and we had dinner there for both nights - the food and the view from the restaurant was amazing, we saw really pretty sunset on both evenings. Beautiful setting once there. You have to go to a large gate and ring to let you in and then easy to park securely . The wine made there is really excellent and fairly priced. The olive oil is also great. We bought 3 litres! The staff were really helpful and Italian or English is fine. There was no menu option in the restaurant as it was quiet when we stayed. Wonderful place on a hilltop with stunning views of the Vesuvius and surrounding area out to the sea. Staff / owners super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

A wonderful stay of 8 nights. Lovely, genuinely nice owners, lovely room (although we were so often out we were rarely in it) A lovely town. A little hard to find by car initially - the turning for the square/piazza of San Rocco is on the left going up and is opposite the bar at the top of the town by the fork- (head down the left side after reaching Piazza San Rocco and turn immediate left after the incredibly tight turn). We had a short break of three nights in April ‘22. The place is lovely, the staff friendly and welcoming. We arrived late at night as our flight got in at 10pm, they were very helpful and stayed up to let us into our room. They don’t speak any English, but we always found a way to make ourselves understood. The room was a good size, with a view across the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. We had a fantastic stay, the views are amazing, you have the sea one side and the mountains and it's towns on the other. The food was amazing and we enjoyed our experience of an Italian feast with home grown produce from the farm.

This was the off season, but the staff was attentive and when this place is all in bloom, it will be over the top. Might have to come back in spring or summer. Great venue for weddings. Thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary trip to the area.

Arrived soaked after being dropped off by a taxi down the hill (he couldn’t get up in the rain apparently and still wanted to charge me 60 euros for a 10 min ride!). The welcome however was so lovely and the staff were great and very helpful. Clean room, good breakfast and a lovely and interesting place to stay on a working farm. Home cooked food also excellent. Highly recommend as a quiet place to stay away from the busy centre of Sorrento
