An excellent overnight stay at the white horse. The landlord and his family were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely use this facility if travelling to Cambridge in the future.

Very clean, comfortable and cosy room . It had a mini fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Toiletries provided. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the owners very friendly and accommodating. Stayed just for 1 night and it was perfect for our needs. Will stay again. Very happy.

A welcoming village inn. Kept to the highest standards possible. Good parking, large well maintained garden area with cosy interior. The accommodation nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable, slept soundly, bathroom again very clean, nice fluffy towels and plenty of soaps and shampoos. Chilled Fresh milk and bottled water was provided along with the usual teas and coffee. A perfect place to stay.

Friendly pub/restaurant with rooms
Semi self catering accommodation with rooms adjacent to pub with private entrances. Good breakfast choice with tray brought to your room at pre-arranged time. Good cask beers and restaurant quality food served in bar.

Manager was somewhat surprised to see us when we arrived. Kitchen was closed (we arrived at 8pm) and we needed food after a long journey. Food took an hour to be prepared. Room was cold (electric wall heater) and fairly shabby. Staff friendly but poor English.

Don't always believe website!
Website is very deceptive, Pub is nothing like it says it is. Hospitality is second to none, but pub needs refurbishing and rooms desperately need decorating. Poor choice of Cask ales, not like picture on website. Deal should have included breakfast, but no one around at 7.30am!

Good value for money but be careful with the lock!
The pub has two rooms in seperate building around the back of the pub, so they're quite big and noise was not an issue. Bed was massive and really comfy, breakfast was tasty and prepared fresh. The only problem we had was that after getting back to our room one evening, the door hadn't been closed properly by the staff so we pushed the door and it opened straight up. Luckily, the hotel is located in the middle of the countryside and nothing had been taken, but we were still quite concerned about the lack of security!

Good place room a little tired, the wall to next door is a little thin and the extractor fan/ac unit for the kitchen is noisy close to th window. Staff very friendly though and food was excellent.

Friendly staff but remote
The staff are very friendly and helpful, tea, coffee is supplied in the room and parking is great. The rooms are on the back of the pub, which means that you don't have noise from the pub/hotel however the walls are incredibly thin so you do get noise from the adjoining room which can be quite loud. Bedroom door opens directly onto the car park and uses a Yale lock , which is ok but not ideal. WiFi was supposed to be available in the main pub/restaurant but I could not get this to work.

Think about early breakfast.
It was average, room a bit dated. The toilet had not been cleaned. Dinner was nice and they did make me a sandwich for breakfast has I was to leave before they started it. Really businessmen need breakfast at 7.00 am by 8.00am we need to be on our way to customers. They are not alone though many places seem to do this.
