Riccardo is truly a world class host! When we asked about directions for a particular nearby attraction he also gave us a run down of several more places throughout the island that might interest us. The free breakfast was superb (and a godsend for us after a grueling flight and terrible jet lag), the space is very stylish and impeccably clean, the area was quiet at night and all the main attractions of Cagliari are an easy walk from the apartment.

Ideal space in Cagliari

We settled on this space because it was so stylish and beautiful and were pleasantly surprised to find it was much, much more. Our wonderful host Riccardo arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport for a reasonable fee, which after a grueling flight was a life saver! And it all went uphill from there. Breakfast was included, and every morning the tables were set with a huge variety of simple dishes, like cereal and sweets, including fresh cake! Tea and espresso was available all day. Cagliari, despite it's steep hills, is a walkable city, and this apartment is within walking distance from almost anywhere you might like to visit. When we felt the heat and humidity might cause us to melt, this gorgeous air conditioned space was always a short walk away. It's hard to imagine finding a better place, so if you already have a short list of accommodations in Sardinia in mind, I hope this review helps you make up your mind!
