Spilman Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well maintained and presented. It feels recently refurbed. The room was good and the bed was super comfy! We had a rear facing room and it was very peaceful. The staff were bright and cheerful from the moment they met us to the moment we departed - that’s all staff, by the way, that we met. The entrance to the car park is tight but fine if you go slow and reverse a little to square up for the drive in. Excellent shopping / anmenities in town too. Overall, a very pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family locally. Will use again!"

Savoy Country Inn

"This country inn is great stop off for south wales with great food and the rooms, although a bit tired in places - couple of carpet stains and pulls and a teeny tiny bathroom with a wobbly cold tap - it was clean and the bed and bedding very comfortable. Breakfast was from 9:30 so not convenient if you’re stopping off on business and need an early start! Staff all very friendly and helpful. My room was above the outdoor garden benches so a bit noisy until closing time but it’s a pub so to be expected."

"An excellent stay at the Rose and Crown. Super convenient in the centre of town with a public car park about 100yards away. The room was great, very clean and well furnished. Shower was good and facilities in the room fine"

"It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay."

"Great value for money, room and bathroom were clean and airy, staff were friendly I would stay again."
Old Priory Guest House

"Clean and tidy. Coffee and tea available. Shower and toilet across the hall. Nice breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location with some parking outside and car park across the road. The only negative is the decor is a little tired."
