Lovely breakfast on terrace

Nice, hotel with amazing views from our room and balcony. Staff were super nice and helpful. Enjoyed our breakfast in the garden. Room was compact but was fine for 2 day stay with everything we needed including fridge.

I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station. On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch. Complimentary water was also provided. If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

Excellent hotel and staff. Location may not be ideal for less mobile due to steep approach path/ roads but otherwise totally recommended

This hotel is a real find - two minutes walk from the heart of Istanbul's main sites in the old town, easy walking distance of all the bazaars and loads of restaurants and bars. The staff were really helpful, polite and efficient - it is small enough that the service feels genuinely personalised. Loved the hospitality. Staff went out of the way to assist. Breakfast was great. Pool was a delight. Very pretty garden with bougainvilleas and hydrangeas. Easy walk into town and the buses to South beaches. Really lovely and highly recommend.

Everything was great! The room was very nice, clean and modern and the compliments gifts such as chocolates, cakes and snacks made my stay feel extra special and personalised. The staff were all very friendly and amazing - special thanks to doorman Ozgur who helped us when we checked out as our taxi was late and accompanied us for the whole time. Amiral Palace Hotel is a must for anybody visiting Istanbul. The property is located in the old town of Istanbul and is walking distance from the major sites of Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. A hotel with lots of character set in the most gorgeous Turkish countryside. Staff are warm and friendly, the room was clean and had good amenities. The sea view from our window and the main terrace was incredible especially at night!
