This charming fishing village offers pristine beaches where you can watch fishermen bring in their daily catch. Explore the narrow cobblestone streets leading to family-run seafood restaurants serving the freshest fish you'll taste in the Algarve.
The Salema Beach Village ishigh end with top spec properties. The properties are very well built and tastefully (yet simply) decorated.
We stayed in Townhouse No.111 which is a 3-bedroom and at the back of the complex, overlooking the pool. Once the pool bar opens it will be next door to this property.
Cleaners come in every day (the time varied from 10am on one day to around 5pm on most days) which meant the townhouse was kept spotless. The pool and surrounding area is also spotless as...

At check in we were welcomed by Joana who was so helpful and recommended places to see.
We stayed in room 303, which is one of the external rooms overlooking the pool and you can even see the sea in the distance. Roll had a big balcony. These rooms have steep stairs and aren’t suitable for people with mobility issues. There was a small table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers. Towels were provided as well as freshly filtered drinking water. The room was big and beds were comfortable,...

This hotel has to be up there with the very best. Absolutely fabulous. Spa centre and gymnasium were also good. Very warm indoor swimming pool if required for later in the year when a little cooler..

The main building where we stayed is very well maintained and the cleaning is top rate. The hotel staff can not do enough for you and make your stay a very pleasant and relaxing break. The breakfast has something for everyone and is very fresh and replenished throughout the breakfast service between 08.00 and 11.00 am. If you are a pool person (like swimming) then this is not the hotel for you as the pool areas are small and only there for cooling off. Both pools are well maintained. The hotel...

We are a family of 4 and booked a garden view apartment. We cooked in the apartment which is very well equipped. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a cliff over an amazing beach which is a 5 minute walk. There is a bar by the pool serving all sorts of food. Lagos is a 50 minute walk through the scenic route passing Ponta da Piedade/Praia do Camilo/Praia de Dona Ana, some of the “must see sites” in Algarve. You can also catch a bus to Lagos, stop is by the beach. Lagos is a beautiful town...

Really great property and really well fitted out in the kitchen for cooking which can be rare. Great and helpful staff who are very responsive. Great to have the easy access to the pool for lazy afternoons and the Moroccan restaurant at the pool is amazing and really good value. Easy 15-minute walk into the centre of town which goes past small local Portuguese restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops so you could experience the fancy old town places as well as the authentic local places.

This is a lovely relaxed hotel/apartment in an excellent location just 2 minutes’ walk from the local bars and restaurants.
The hotel has a self-check-in system and they email with a door code so you can arrive and go straight to your room.
Our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable, with two pillows each and an extra blanket if needed. There was plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes and a small fridge.
There’s lots of fresh fruit at breakfast as well as the usual...
