"We stayed in a bungalow at this campsite and it was great! It was quite hot during the day without aircon or a fan, but thankfully it cooled down quite a lot in the evenings so having a window open was fine. Seems like the bungalows have 2 sun loungers on each shaded balcony so having an afternoon snooze was also possible. There was a shop onsite which is very convenient. There is a bus stop outside going to/from the beach and Lagos, or you can walk to the Luz beach in about 20-30 minutes. It...

"The Aurora Sol is a beautiful little aparthotel located just a little away from the main area of Praia da Luz (5 mins in car) It is a well presented, well run accommodation decorated in traditional style Portuguese finishes such as terracotta flooring with blue and white pretty tiling throughout the common areas. On first impressions, the thing that is most notable is the cleanliness of the property and how beautifully presented it is. Bedrooms/bathrooms are cleaned and maintained daily and smell wonderful. Beds are made, sheets changed, and even our clothing was folded if we had left it on a chair. Beds were comfortable and linen of nice quality Pool area was situated in a beautiful garden style area, which once again was clean Staff are friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We hope to visit again soon Thank you for a pleasant stay"

"The area was beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast buffet that was included was a beautiful area and lots of choice. Our room was darker and more dated than I expected and the drapery that provided the privacy to our room was torn -the outside shutters only went halfway down as well. There were tiny little black type ants in the bathroom and by the front door inside - I am not certain if its just because it was a more tropical area and they all have this."

"We loved our stay! The property was beautiful with a great ocean view and the villa was well stocked with essentials. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the accommodations made for us as we arrived quite late due to delayed flights. The town and beach are just a short walk and there were several great options for restaurants in walking distance. The pool was larger than expected and it was a great way to cool off after exploring all day. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer. I hope to return again soon!"

"Beautiful villa in great location with amazing view and plenty of space for 14 people - quiet but easy walk into the centre of Luz. The property was cleaned everyday whilst we were there which was great. Kitchen is well equipped and we also had some provisions left for us when we arrived such as bread, milk, beer etc which was much appreciated . We loved that every room had its own en-suite. The only downsides were the pool was very cold, even in August! We all struggled to work out how the showers work and to get hot water but once we got the hang of it, then it was fine. And lastly a couple of the bedside lamps didn’t work which was annoying when you wanted to read a book in bed at night, but besides that, we loved our stay!"

"Awesome stay. Lovely spacious property with beautiful views. About a 15 min walk to the beach and restaurants, and nearest supermarket. 10-15 mins in a cab to Lagos, which is lovely. Overall, a great location and villa, in a nice safe area."

"We had a fantastic stay at Aldeia Azul. The family apartment was beautifully renovated, modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The daily cleaning service was excellent and kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. The pool area was fantastic and perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive from beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. We would highly recommend Aldeia Azul to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities and a convenient location. We will definitely be back again!"
