At no point were we offered alternatives or guidance on how to spend the time, such as using the pool or exploring nearby areas. As first-time visitors to Bangkok, this lack of direction left us sitting in the bar until the official check-in time. We booked a pool-view room expecting balcony/terrace access, as shown in the photos, but the doors were locked with a sign stating “Do not open.” This made the upgrade pointless. Because we were never informed about the pool facilities or how to access them, we missed out on that experience entirely. Overall, the main issue was not the inability to check in early, but the poor communication and lack of hospitality. Clear information and proactive service would have made a significant difference."
