While enjoying a pleasant summer day in #mybackyard I noticed this fly just floating in the sunlight. I quickly ran back inside, and grabbed my 100-400mm Canon. When I came back outside this peculiar fly was still hovering in the dapple ray of light. After battling to find the narrowest plane of focus, I came away with a photo I like to call The Lord of the Flies. #Naturephotography #Colorado #Canon #insects
