2nd stay at this hotel. So convieient to all downtown restaurants and bars. Check in was simple and we were offered an upgraded room for a nominal price. Great view of the mountains. Love the different themes on the floors. Fun hotel that is still comfortable with everything you need for a long weekend in Denver. Need to offer pillow option other than feather pillows. Small issue but for me it makes a big difference in the quality of my sleep.
The Magnolia had one of the nicest rooms we had stayed in all week. Very clean and modern-looking and the bed was actually comfortable! I was disappointed that for the price and reputation of this hotel there was not a mini-fridge available, but besides that we were not disappointed. Valet was quick and courteous, bathroom was modern and very spacious, great food in the area recommended by the front desk staff, and I loved the historical feel to the hotel without making it feel "old". There was some construction in the lobby as we checked out so be aware there may temporarily be some very loud construction.
We went there for a special anniversary occasion, our room was upgraded and when they found out we were celebrating our 29th anniversary, they delivered a bottle of champagne to our room! Room was spacious, super comfy, loved it! Staff was wonderful!!!
Arrived to the hotel and were greeted by friendly staff. We were offered a free room upgrade and late check-out which was amazing. Our room was great, warm with a large window facing 14th street. There was a large bathroom with a separate deep bath tub. and a glass shower. The room was great. We were offered free car service to anywhere with-in two miles of the hotel. We got a ride to an amazing restaurant called Los Chingones and on the way our driver (also a bellhop) offered up amazing advice and information.
Later in the night we stopped at the fantastic hotel restaurant, Nickel, and received more fantastic customer service over craft cocktails. Room Service was also available 24 hours a day.
Overall a wonderful experience.
Contemporary skyscrapers and the historic Lower Downtown (LoDo) make up downtown. Situated near Coors Field and the Pepsi Center, local bars and restaurants make LoDo the go-to place for Avalanche, Nuggets, and Rockies parties. The Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Denver Performing Arts Complex, and the I.M Pei-designed 16th Street Mall satisfy the desire for high culture and couture.
