"Great open plan living/social space downstairs however upstairs whilst spacious presented its challenges. Too much light in master bedroom during the night from bathroom windows/skylight. Had to turn on the bathroom light when going to the loo waking partner! Separate lights perhaps? Bath towels very small and we are average height /build. A memory foam mattress is not to our liking and the duvet was quite heavy for this time of year. Very well equipped kitchen and social /entertainment...

"Everything was to a very high standard. Generous welcome pack. Accommodation met our requirements. Plenty of room for people to do different things. Play facilities for children were a boon as weather was very mixed."

Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"Quarry House was an amazing venue for our extended family Christmas celebration. We had 12 people from 9-74 and a dog and all had a great time. The house looked beautiful all lit up and decorated. We particularly appreciated the amazingly well equipped kitchen. There was nothing at all that we missed even down to spare batteries. There were clear instructions on how to operate everything and helpful local information. We enjoyed walks in the woods, soaking in the hot tub and warming up in front...

"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."

"Ideal for a break for two persons, Nuthatch Cottage is a warm, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a charming situation. Behind the cottage is a small stream with a weir and a view over a meadow occupied by sheep. The host is friendly and on hand to deal with any queries the tenants may have."

"Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a romantic getaway, plenty of space and the décor with so much love put into the property. Hot tub was amazing loved it. We ordered from the menu homemade lasagne garlic bread and some chips for our first night and was so worth it tasted better than any pub meal. And we had a sausage and egg muffin for breakfast on our last morning with hash browns and orange juice delicious. We went to the local pub for Sunday lunch we booked before our visit beef...

There were a couple of fixtures which need attention, and would have liked the hot tub to have had a constant bubble setting, but other than that had a wonderful stay. We were very impressed by the letting agents communication and efficient reply to our queries."

"An outstanding property in an outstanding part of Wales. I love the property and would be quite happy living there. Sadly I was only there for three nights. I stayed when it was very cold and I didn't mind the outside toilet but the shower was another matter on a cold morning. I would love to experience this in the summer months. "4 friends stayed in & enjoyed the cottage. Lovely cosy feel, especially with the fire going. Used the BBQ hut too, lovely idea as can have a BBQ even in the rain - could do with a bit more light in there though as when it got dark cooking would’ve been close to impossible had we not used the torches on our phones. Would defo come back & stay again"
