"We really liked the quaint, homey atmosphere of Egan’s Guest House. The garden was so peaceful! We appreciated the ability to borrow a large fan from the front desk for our comfort at night. It was nice to be able to walk right down the street for dinner at The Botanic. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for us."

"Stayed for a couple of nights ahead of the Oasis concerts. Hotel is great, very quiet, comfortable beds and pillows.
Used the gym once, which is adequate for a quick workout, though being connected to the GAA could have expected it to be more of a showpiece.
Breakfast was fabulous and great value too.
Getting into Dublin centre is approx 30 min walk, or easily done from nearby Drumcondra which is one stop on the train. We found the public transport excellent for service, reliability and value compared to home in the UK and used it extensively throughout our stay."
"The decor was very cool, Shabby Chic. The breakfast is well worth the money. The lunch and dinner menu could use some improvement, especially for people arriving late. Dublin roles up the sidewalks a bit early for dinner. The menu is limited basically to pizzas, but they are very high quality."
