"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Welsh Marches. The property was very clean and modern with great facilities. The view from our cottage was beautiful and such a lovely view to wake up to. Our 2 year old German Shepherd had plenty of room and was extremely comfortable the whole stay which was a worry of mine! My only criticism is the WiFi was quite slow but it wasn’t too much of a problem. The surrounding areas were beautiful and there were so many walks to go on which was so enjoyable....

"The listing was for a ‘gorgeous 2 bed cottage’ and it was certainly that! Such lovely original features but decorated so cleanly and modern. There were 2 very full large builders skips right in front of the property making sitting out in the tiny courtyard quite an unpleasant experience. Getting the boiler just right took a while. "Very nice. Poor directions best and simple access is from Monmouth. Not Ragland, some of the country roads from other access points are single track roads. get to Monmouth and then load satnav with NP25 5NL Water very hot in taps could do with warning sticker. Wet room very good, however no seat. Gravel drive is not wheelchair friendly and would benefit from concrete slabs from disabled parking area to Cider house cottage. Owner very pleasant and friendly. We had a lovely week."

"Looks small from the front but is actually very spacious, plenty of room for us family of 4, and can accommodate more. Located in a lovely picturesque village with a stream at the rear of the house. Well equipped with everything you could need, our 5 year old loved having all the toys and bunk bed. Stopped for a few nights for a nearby wedding, was ideal for us. Nice couple of treats left from the owners too."
