Nice spot in Bilbao. Nicely appointed modern room with a city view, but not that close to the water. Lots to see and do in Bilbao. We stayed one night. Friendly staff and most are English speaking. Lots of amenities including parking on site, which is a cost over and above the room. Comfortable bed. ...
The Hotel is close to all the attractive places in Bilbao, has Metro Station near by (Idautxu) and prices are very good compared with other hotels of the same category. I can recommend for someone who will be exploring the city for a couple of days.
Clean comfortable hotel within walking distance of everything. Staff was very nice and helpful. There was construction in the area that could get loud at times but not the hotel’s fault. Overall quite happy.
We were made very welcome at the hotel, lovely big room, and a huge comfortable bed with fantastic pillows! Room was clean, and laundry was nice and fresh. There was a private shower and toilet ( had doors on), but the sink and vanity area was open plan. (If you were sharing with someone you didn't ...
The hotel is located in front of the river; very close to most of the Bilbao attractions. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean. The staff was extremely smiling and helpfull.
With a buzzing financial district and two major conference and exhibition centres, Bilbao welcomes a steady stream of business travellers and conference delegates. Whatever brings you to the city, Bilbao’s conference centre hotels offer a wide range of convenient, well-equipped places to stay.
If you’re looking for Bilbao conference hotels, you’ll see two main clusters: one in the centre of town, and one further out towards Bilbao Bay. Town centre hotels are best for the Euskalduna centre, a modern downtown space that hosts live music, ballet and theatre as well as conferences. Out in Bilbao Bay, the main conference space is the huge Bilbao Exhibition Centre, which hosts major trade shows, conventions and live performances. It’s easy to reach, with direct access from the Ansio Metro station.
Bilbao is an art and design hotspot, and many of its conference centre hotels reflect that – look out for bold pops of colour and ultra-modern styling. However, Bilbao also has its traditional side, so if trendy and hip isn’t your thing, look in the Casco Viejo old quarter for some more traditional options. Whether you’re looking for contemporary or classic, you’ll find a great range of leisure and business amenities, from fitness centres and rooftop terraces to free WiFi and meeting spaces.
If you’re attending an event at the Euskalduna centre, you’ll be on the doorstep of Doña Casilda Iturrizar park, one of Bilbao’s best green spaces. Head to the east edge of the park to visit Bilbao’s Fine Arts Museum, where you can see a good collection of Old Masters. Then head back along the Nervión River to the extraordinary silver curves of the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao’s iconic temple to modern art.
Worked up a hunger on the conference floor? Head to the Casco Viejo to explore some of Bilbao’s best pintxos (tapas) bars – they’re an integral part of city life. If you’re looking for cutting-edge cuisine or somewhere to entertain clients, you’ll also find a wide range of fine dining restaurants in Bilbao, including a few Michelin-starred options.
