Lovely hotel, room was well appointed and very comfortable. Was relieved that toilet was separate from open plan bathroom! Staff very friendly, lovely buffet breakfast. Our room didn't have much of a view, but we were out most of the time anyway!
I am in Bilbao frequently and know the town very well. I like the NH because it is in a clean, quiet neighborhood that is quite safe and frequented mostly by locals. Yet, it is just a few minutes walk to great restaurants, museums, etc. The bus stop is right outside, making a trip to Casco Viejo ...
Very good location in Bilbao, easy walking distance to the Guggenheim, and about a 30-minute walk to the old City Also not far from the A8 expressway so getting in and out of town is pretty simple if you have a car (the hotel has a garage for an additional daily fee). The most expansive breakfast ...
Hotel is nice in general. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is very good with lots of options and recommended if you don't want to go somewhere more central. Weirdly though I didn't manage to get a made-to-order omelette during my week long stay as I couldn't find the cook... Location ...
This hotel was perfect for the 2 night stay I had in Bilbao. I was visiting for a music festival and the location was perfect. It was only a 10 minute walk to the shuttle pick up at Termibus. It does have some nightlife next door which can get loud. I was on the 12th floor and could hear the music ...
We stayed one night at Hotel Melia. This is a nice hotel and very well located nearby Bilbao main attractions like the Guggenheim Museum or Museum of Fine Arts which are at a walking distance from the hotel. The staff at the reception was helpful and competent. The morning breakfast was great with ...
This was a very interesting hotel. Plenty of character and large areas that take you to a forgotten era. The place is at the heart of the city, very close to local public transports and amenities. The hotel is clean and overlooks a central square. On the negatives the building is old and the pluming ...
.Excellent hotel convenient for most activities. Access to the new town and tram was by one of two bridges nearby and the Guggenheim was in view from our window, sitting perhaps 400 mtrs away.. Very happy to come again..
With a buzzing financial district and two major conference and exhibition centres, Bilbao welcomes a steady stream of business travellers and conference delegates. Whatever brings you to the city, Bilbao’s conference centre hotels offer a wide range of convenient, well-equipped places to stay.
If you’re looking for Bilbao conference hotels, you’ll see two main clusters: one in the centre of town, and one further out towards Bilbao Bay. Town centre hotels are best for the Euskalduna centre, a modern downtown space that hosts live music, ballet and theatre as well as conferences. Out in Bilbao Bay, the main conference space is the huge Bilbao Exhibition Centre, which hosts major trade shows, conventions and live performances. It’s easy to reach, with direct access from the Ansio Metro station.
Bilbao is an art and design hotspot, and many of its conference centre hotels reflect that – look out for bold pops of colour and ultra-modern styling. However, Bilbao also has its traditional side, so if trendy and hip isn’t your thing, look in the Casco Viejo old quarter for some more traditional options. Whether you’re looking for contemporary or classic, you’ll find a great range of leisure and business amenities, from fitness centres and rooftop terraces to free WiFi and meeting spaces.
If you’re attending an event at the Euskalduna centre, you’ll be on the doorstep of Doña Casilda Iturrizar park, one of Bilbao’s best green spaces. Head to the east edge of the park to visit Bilbao’s Fine Arts Museum, where you can see a good collection of Old Masters. Then head back along the Nervión River to the extraordinary silver curves of the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao’s iconic temple to modern art.
Worked up a hunger on the conference floor? Head to the Casco Viejo to explore some of Bilbao’s best pintxos (tapas) bars – they’re an integral part of city life. If you’re looking for cutting-edge cuisine or somewhere to entertain clients, you’ll also find a wide range of fine dining restaurants in Bilbao, including a few Michelin-starred options.
