Very good location, you can walk everywhere with ease. We got a modern, small and clean bedroom with comfortable beds. The reception room is cold and uninviting, not at all cosy. The reception staff was totally impersonal, no efforts to be friendly and welcoming. Overall a nice stay and would recommend ...
This hotel is well located for exploring what Bilbao has to offer. Tip: if driving follow the street signs ,not your gps for the last 100m. There are 2 entrances. The street signs lead you to where you can park, the gps leads you to where you have difficulty parking.

I stayed at Botxo Gallery for one night to attend the Art After Dark event at the Guggeinheim. The hostel is very conveniently located (10 min walk away from the museum). Because there were so many people in the room, my group found that the room came with a slight smell. Other than that, the hostel ...

The welcome was very warm and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with fresh bread and freshly squeezed fruit juice. The hotel is tranquil with good access to local places to eat. There was plenty of information about the surrounding area, and the airport was a few minutes drive away.

Bilbao is a surprisingly active and outdoorsy city, with large city parks in the centre, beaches to the north and mountains to the south. Whatever you’re coming to the city for, Bilbao’s adventure sports hotels will give you a great base from which to plan your activities.
Adventure sports fans have no shortage of accommodation to choose from in Bilbao and its surrounding regions. Choose an adventure sports hotel in Bilbao city centre for urban runs through parks and along the river, or to take part in events such as the annual Bilbao Night Marathon. Base yourself in Bilbao Bay for ocean watersports and deep sea fishing, or out in the mountains for hiking, biking and bouldering.
If you’re booking adventure sport accommodation in Bilbao, look out for facilities such as saunas, pools and spas for relaxing sore muscles, and 24-hour fitness centres to help you stay at peak performance. Many properties outside the city centre also offer barbecue and picnic areas, and hotel basics such as laundry services and free WiFi come as standard.
Once you’ve finished running, sailing, diving or climbing, it’s time to discover Bilbao’s sights and attractions. Take a tour of the Guggenheim Museum to see the best in contemporary art and learn more about Bilbao’s most famous building. Other cultural highlights include the Basque Museum, which delves into the history and culture of the region, and the Fine Arts Museum, which has a superb collection of Old Masters.
Bilbao is famous for its culinary scene. Go upscale and book one of its many Michelin-starred restaurants, or visit the Old Town and hit the traditional pintxos bars. This is the Basque version of tapas, so expect dozens of explosively tasty small plates, from grilled baby squid to gooey ham croquettas.
Once you’ve eaten your fill, head back to your adventure sports hotel for a well-earned rest. Who knows what adventures tomorrow will hold?
