"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"It’s a lovely authentic pub in a small village, with a big courtyard and outdoor tables with parasols. The rooms are on the opposite side of the courtyard to the pub and are spacious and clean but very warm, even with the windows open and fans. We have stayed here 2 years running for the F1 as it’s very handy for the park and ride. I recommend staying here. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the pub food is delicious."

"We have just had a pleasant 2 night stay at Stubley Castle,room was just what we needed very clean with the necessary amenities to make our short stay comfortable,lovely bar area and the restaurant was very good,the breakfast was basically whatever you wanted,we had 2 evenings meals in the restaurant,first one was off the English menu and was ok possibly to much of what we had was done in a deep fat fryer,White Bait and Cod and Chips ,the staff are Indians and really nothing was to much trouble,on our second night we ate off the Indian food Menu and it was really excellent traditional Indian food obviously cooked by Indians people,all in all a pleasant short stay because we had business in the area,would we go back ,Definitely."

"We had a really lovely stay at Western Manor . Impressive drive to front of the hotel and foyer . Our room spotlessly clean , plenty of toiletries , towels, bottled water , a fan , tea and coffee facilities etc. The super King size bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. Really quiet room at the back of the hotel . We watched owls and a few bats fly past which was amazing !. All the staff were friendly, kind and helpful . We loved chatting with Freya ( a new member of staff and she will be a great asset to the Hotel. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with good choices on the menu . Breakfast buffet was good ( maybe could do with more fresh fruit choices and milk for coffee in small jugs rather than one big jug for drinks and cereals ...) but everything else piping hot and tasty. Many thanks to The Western Manor Hotel for a most enjoyable stay ."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful. Quaint building with good sized beer garden for our dog. Our room was small but comfortable and fortunately there was a good breeze through the open window but imagine it could be very warm in hot weather. Did notice when the mattress moved on the bed there was a lot of dust in the support bars underneath. Main problem for us was the limited menu option as a lot of food was coated in breadcrumbs and no fresh or healthy options and my scampi even had the peas missing and my husband didn't get the peppercorn sauce or crispy onions but the staff were also short staffed so we didn't want to complain. Breakfast eggs cooked to perfection"
