A tranquil piece of heaven
La Remise is located in a small town surrounded by vineyards and rugged hills. It's so quiet at night you can hear your own heartbeat. The terrace on the upper floor is completely private and has comfortable furniture for lounging. Pauline, the owner, is a top-notch hostess, taking care of every detail with friendly efficiency. It has old world charm with modern conveniences. Perfect!

Sweet little house
An old stone house, lovingly restored and with all modern amenities, very well equipped to live a simple village life 'en bonne ambiance.' Within driving distance of many pretty villages; lots of hiking possibilities in the area. Walking between the vineyards and attending the tastings at the wineries, you can't help but become an advanced student in the Faculty of Wine!

Great base to explore the area
Well equipped and comfortable little gite in quiet street in the small town of Cebazan. Lovely sunny terrace. Very comfortable bed. Great for a couple wanting to explore this fascinating area of France. Easy reach of beautiful old villages, plenty of wine tasting, the lovely Canal du Midi and the coast. Some great walking from the house.

Little gem
We had a wonderfully stay at this property. It was home from home, everything you needed. It was exceptional hot when we stayed and fan's were provided but a mosquito net to cover the door would have made the nights a little more comfortable (been able to leave open). Local patisserie had a great selection of lovely bread and cakes! Would return!

A perfect little gite
We loved this rental - the best gite we've stayed in! It's a beautiful little house; tastefully decorated, very clean and is equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lovely balcony is the most spacious we have experienced and there is a built in stone barbeque for guests' use. We bought our bread in the nearby boulangerie and enjoyed the local wine from the 'cave' at the end of the road. The town itself has little else to offer but St Chinian, the next town (a short car-journey away) has restaurants, markets and a couple of supermarkets, and there are plenty of interesting other towns to visit in the region. However, best of all, is the countryside all around which is fabulous and we enjoyed wonderful walks every day. Our host, Pauline is also five stars - wonderful - very friendly, efficient and attentive, keeping in touch by email to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed.

A beautiful little cottage in an absolutely stunning area.
The property was a charming little cottage in a very pleasant village. The surrounding countryside is stunning and there is so much to see in the area from visiting vineyards, markets, historic towns etc. Pauline is an attentive host and is on hand to answer any queries 24/7. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine in the evening. Fully recommend.

Lovely clean well equipped house for a couple
Very good hostess, contacted us on arrival day to warn property may not be ready on time but it was. Roof terrace very warm so shade of the brolly was needed. Good supply of fans in the house so you can sleep at night. Well equipped with utensiles, crockery etc. Clean and some satellite tv channels plus a dvd player made for cosy nights after dark. Village has a bakery and a wine producer plus a coop so you will not be short of a tipple.

La Remise Perfect For Exploring the Area
La Remise was perfectly situated for the type of sightseeing that my partner and I enjoy, whether going to the Med or up to the mountains. We were aware that the stairs in La Remise was on a tight turn, so it was a case of taking care on the stairs, but the stair did not stop us having our meals on the roof terrace, which was fantastic and not over looked by any of the surrounding houses. La Remise was perfect in everyway for our holiday, but the only difficulty I had was that the combe micro wave oven did not have the facility of a convectional oven, it only combined the grill and the micro wave, so my ideas for meals was limited by this. The area that La Remise is situated was very peaceful, which gave us a chance to relax each evening after a busy day sightseeing. La Remise is the perfect place for any couple to just get away from it all and chill. Wonderful!!!
