"Hotel Berlin was an excellent base for our city break. It is a short walk to the zoo and aquarium with options to hire a scooter always available outside if you are feeling lazy! The hotel is further from the centre of Berlin than other choices, but the No. 100 bus stop (that goes straight through the main tourist spots) is outside the front of the hotel. Definitely download the BVG app and purchase the €9 monthly ticket which is valid on all standard trains and busses. The same bus stop is used by the hop on/hop off bus too giving you plenty of options for exploring Berlin. The hotel itself was undergoing some refurbishment to the ground floor during our stay and the bathroom although clean was looking in need of some TLC but neither of these was an inconvenience to our stay. The breakfast option was a typical European continental breakfast with many bread / cheese / meat choices alongside cereal / fruit / juices too. The staff were consistently helpful and polite. There is even a small self-serve shop in the lobby for water and sandwiches etc to stock your day bag ahead of your adventures in Berlin. The hotel is also situated near a shopping district but as a father & son we didn’t see any need to explore those options! We would definitely stay at this hotel again when returning to Berlin. "

"We had a junior suite and it was so much bigger than I expected. We had a bedroom with a master bathroom, and a living room area with a second small bathroom. My only confusion was no having a door between the rooms and the shower. There was a door for both toilets, though. But overall I absolutely LOVED the hotel and the price was AMAZING. It was only $600 for 5 nights!"

"My son and I visited Berlin for the first time and had a great time. This hotel is ideally placed for the train station which has a regular service to airport. The staff are friendly and the rooms spacious plus clean. "

"Good sized room with enough space to move around. Bed with comfortable mattress. Bathroom was modern and great. Internet was speedy enough for my use. Check in and check out was slow. Couldn't use automated check out without having a "QR code" but didn't explain where to get this QR code. Good public transport options nearby."
