"We had a wonderful stay at the weekend at Slieve Donard Hotel for my Mum's birthday. We haven't been for a few years, and it was so lovely to be back. We booked dinner at Villa Vinci in the town and oh my - it was amazing! The staff were wonderful and the room was fantastic. One thing to note, however, is that seating in the spa is extremely limited, and it was completely full on our first day, and the jacuzzi was much the same. We returned on Monday morning at 8 am and managed to get 2 seats, but we were just lucky. It really doesn't have enough seating for a hotel of this size. The views definitely help make up for the lack of seating, though!"

Really enjoyed our stay. The reception was a lovely smell when you arrive. The only thing which was disappointing was the horrendous smell in the ladies toilets in the lobby. X"

Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option - in walking distance of the property."
