We have just arrived back home after a wonderful 14 night stay. The gardens were magnificent, the staff so helpful and the pool was so clean and a great area for swimming lengths. There were plenty of sunbeds and a drinks service was always available. The breakfasts were fantastic with so much choice and the views were incredible sitting at the tables on the terrace. You could have evening meal in the hotel if you wished. There was always lots of choice, buffet style and the cost was very reasonable. There was a restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the hotel which becomes one of our favourites with lots to choose from. Baja Sardinia was about a 5 minute drive with lots if restaurants to choose from. A car is a must for you to explore Sardinia and you can pick one up at the airport for a very good price. We would highly recommend Hotel Pulicinu - we would definitely like to stay there again. We booked a suite which faced directly to the pool. It was so convenient and very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also very big and powerful.

Hotel being updated.Fresh bedding&towels everyday.Staff can't fault, they will help you with any problems big or small.
Typical Italian ambiance with very few English which I like. Supermarket open all day in August with other shops.
Close to bus stop, take Sunlines ( public bus) for 5.00 Euros (single) would recommend with fantastic views of this part of the island .Get off in Olbia and visit the town here you'll find a craft market, enjoy an ice cream or maybe lunch.
We used this service again returning to the airport the journey costs 6.00 Euros (single) and takes 1 hr.
A market is held every Tuesday morning and is close to the hotel.Information office close-by for day trips to the
islands, bike-hire, scooter ect. If you've forgotten your flippers for snorkeling, hire is available with scuba diving too.
Would recommend hire a car, book well in advance for better rates. There is no swimming pool although you can use
the pool in the opposite hotel but at a cost, we did not use.The beach is very hectic so get their early or go after 2pm
Otherwise it's finding a place on the rocks where you can snorkel and sunbath.Don't forget your water and snacks!!!.
Very little evening entertainment, there is a disco near the hotel but the noise of the aircon drowns it out.
The hotel is positioned extremely well, close to Baja Sardinia few minutes drive to the best beaches of Costa Smeralda. However the hotel has quaint facilities, which show that it must have been a great hotel during the 80's - and few maintenance work has been taken since. Our room was overlooking the sea, and I can assure that during sunset the view was wonderful! The famous Phi Beach next door was not annoying as mentioned in other reviews, they had good music until midnight, which I didn't mind - was nice thinking that people were spending €50 for two glass of wine to see the sunset I could comfortably see from my room's balcony! In conclusions: I recommend this good-value-for-money hotel, if you have a car and you plan to explore Costa Smeralda (and don't spend all your holiday inside the hotel). Only annoying thing: Expedia did not mention (at least not on the price page when I was to book my stay) that you are expected to pay €6 per day each once you get there. I hate hidden cost and there it was: apparently was a fee for the use of swimming pool&beach of the hotel.

This elegant resort on the Golfo di Arzachena is well endowed with luxury hotels. Fanning out over a wide bay with a fine, sandy beach, Baia Sardinia is especially popular with families. The Aquadream water park has slides and chutes for thrills and spills and the beaches nearby are excellent for windsurfing. Nearby too are important Nuraghi remains, including Coddu Vecchiu, one of the best-preserved giants’ tombs.
