"The Hayloft is a lovely property. It is very stylishly appointed - an extremely comfortable bed, fab modern bathroom and a small kitchen area for preparing breakfast. It’s very well located for visiting the Suffolk coast. Wickham Market has a a decent sized supermarket for provisions, a really good fish and chip shop and the Bengal Indian Restaurant was one of the best we have eaten at. "We had a really enjoyable stay in this delightful, well equipped, tastefulĺy furnished apartment. Everything was as described, or better! We found plenty of places to walk our dogs either close by or a short drive away. Aldeburgh is just an easy, short drive away - avoid the Regatta Restaurant unless you want indifferent food at a premium price! We are already looking at dates for a return visit. Highly recommend."

"Very clean and well equipped. Spacious. Ideal base for exploring the area - Southwold, Aldeburgh and Framlingham Castle all within easy reach. Friendly village pub with a good menu. Only slight downside is traffic quite noisy but not a big problem."

"I am disabled and this was a thoroughly convenient premises well laid out for wheelchair/scooter. Everything worked well including the electric armchair which was similar to the one I have here. One suggestion would be for another grab rail on the wall to the left of the loo cistern and also clear instructions on use of microwave … we are both over 70 and gadget adverse !? Overall very well done"

"We had such a lovely Easter break at Shallow End. The perfect place for peace and quiet. Judith & Mike were lovely too. Orford is a gorgeous area and we enjoyed walking and eating. Our dog had a great time too. We’ll definitely be back."

"We had a lovely few days staying at The Blyth apartment. Great location, a few minutes walk from the beach and town. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Nice cosy bed. As mentioned in some other reviews the sound does carry from the apartment above but luckily it was only occupied for our first night. All in all a very nice stay and so pleased we could bring our little dog."

"We’ve stayed in various properties in Southwold and this was by far our favourite. Perfect location and decor to a high spec. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, and glasses. Washing up liquid, dishcloth, tea towels and dishwasher tablets provided. We have already been looking to rebook for the Summer."

"Perfect location, near to beach and town. Nicely decorated, clean and had everything thats needed for a short stay. Minor issue - windows rattle when windy"

"Great location. Beautifully clean inside. Well equipped kitchen. Double bed very comfortable, but creaks a lot especially when getting in and out of it - not great for light sleepers. Outside space needs to be tidied up and weeded - lets the place down badly. Small maintenance jobs, like renewing the plug in the bathroom, ensuring the pedal bin works properly have been outstanding for a long time when looking through the maintainance log."

"This little cottage is ideally located opposite a well stocked local shop and close to coast path walks which is particularly handy if you have a dog. It is well equipped and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended."
