"We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it. "This flat was in a good location with fab views. Everything we needed was there and more. The log burners were so cosy after a day touring the island. Wifi, tv, beds all perfect. Communication with host good and access to the flat straightforward. I would 100% reccomend this lovely spacious flat and will hopefully return."

"Beautiful property, lovely views from the windows and at night all the lights from the other side of the water is so nice. There is a woodland walk just at the top of the road, most places are dog friendly, and to see the deer in the garden from the window was so nice. "

"Previous reviews of this property are very accurate. The lack of a working shower is a setback for this rental. Other properties have the same shower mechanism, but this one does not work to combine cold and hot water properly and should be replaced. The kitchen also did not have any decent pans to make breakfast. They are all scratched. No one will pack a cast iron pan. So, a small investment in the place will go a long way here. Cleanliness was good but could be improved overall. Not bad, just...

"Basic apartment- lots of work done to make it habitable but the finishing is not great. All appliances works, the bed and mattress was good with clean linen and towels. The area had a pub with people parking on the limited parking slots (reserved for residents). Since I was over the weekend, I could park but if it was a weekday, I would have to park on the main road. No local eateries to walk up to other than the pub which was very busy."

"The property on arrival was clean warm and well presented, Didn't have to worry about anything, close to local shop ( downstairs) walking distance to local pub, (very friendly staff, landlord and landlady, great food as well, The property was plenty big enough, could have and wanted to stay another week, didn't want to come home, Thank you for a relaxing stay, can't wait to book again soon"

"We stayed here for the weekend to attend the Viking Festival. Location was perfect. Neighbours very friendly and welcoming. The flat itself was perhaps a little smaller than I expected and very sparse as far as bed and pillow covers and towels. There were 4 adults staying but only towels supplied for two. The duvet and pillows were missing covers for the bed settee. Other than that we loved our time in Largs."
