Attended an event at the hotel and then stayed the night. Room was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice in the bar and not silly prices. Breakfast was excellent, as were the views.

We visited Norwood Hall the week before our son's wedding. The receptionist was very helpful and asked if we would like to see the wedding reception area and ballroom. We were impressed at the ambience and the standard of décor . Following the visit I had to phone a couple of times to confirm early check in was available and to ask for a cot to be put in the junior suite. The receptionist was so polite and helpful. We had a room on the lower floor with doors out to a patio and table and chairs. Room was excellent. Large spacious bathroom with large shower and separate deep bath. Room was spotless and could not fault anything.

Warm and friendly hosts nothing too much bother yummy breakfast the rooms are immaculate….. cosy comfy beds what else could one ask for???? I added another 2nights to my booking as didn’t want to leave

Great hotel alwats love coming here. Changed alot since COVID, clean rooms, sanitiser stations everywhere and excellent parking. I will be back!

A first class, really different B&B. Lovely old building filled with amazing furniture and a lovely collection of quirky items, both inside and outside the house. Beautiful spread of continental breakfast items, plus a hard to beat cooked Scottish breakfast, the plates full of good quality local produce. Always good staying here. Towels, shampoo and soap all provided. Excellent restaurant on ground floor. Well stocked bar. Staff generally leave you be, but always plenty around. You'll do well staying here.

Lovely hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel was very quiet whilst I was there but I believe that was due to some guests isolating on upper floors. The food menu was very limited with not much choice and there was no where else nearby to eat. However that said the food that was available was very good.

Lovely place to stay. Very central for shopping, train & bus station. Staff were really good, friendly & pleasant. Unfortunately house keeping weren’t on the ball. Dishes left in the dishwasher from previous occupants, black mark in the wall & a torn bath towel in the shower room. This isn’t a cheap budget hotel, I expected a lot better.
