Lovely hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. The hotel was very quiet whilst I was there but I believe that was due to some guests isolating on upper floors. The food menu was very limited with not much choice and there was no where else nearby to eat. However that said the food that was available was very good.

Don't be put off by the look of the building as the inside is very nice and well maintained.
We booked a double room and actually were given a family room, therefore the room was very spacious. It was also very clean with shampoo, conditioner, flannel, sewing kit etc. Very impressed with the complimentary hamper including water, chocolate, crisps and biscuits. Nothing too much trouble for all the staff. The meal in the restaurant was delicious. Room cleaned and fresh towels every day. I...

Recently built so in excellent condition. Staff very friendly, helpful and always available although the restaurant was closed as it was Christmas day, but the menu looked good. Nice atmosphere in the public areas and the room was a really good size with excellent lighting. Overall I was very happy with this hotel.

Craighaar is a lovely place to stay, i was a returning guest having stayed a number of times some years ago.
Staff are all very friendly and the food is great.
Proximity to TECA is great for venue access, Only negative which is a minor point is the proximity to the airport and the fact that the hotel is right in line of the runway.

Attended an event at the hotel and then stayed the night. Room was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful.
Plenty of choice in the bar and not silly prices.
Breakfast was excellent, as were the views.

We visited Norwood Hall the week before our son's wedding. The receptionist was very helpful and asked if we would like to see the wedding reception area and ballroom. We were impressed at the ambience and the standard of décor . Following the visit I had to phone a couple of times to confirm early check in was available and to ask for a cot to be put in the junior suite. The receptionist was so polite and helpful.

The best time to go to Mastrick is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is generally milder and there are more daylight hours.
During this period, you'll find the most pleasant conditions for exploring the local area and enjoying outdoor activities. The longer days mean more time for sightseeing without the rush, and the temperatures are typically more comfortable, avoiding the colder, darker days of winter.
For those planning to explore the wider Aberdeenshire region, including the nearby coastline or the Cairngorms National Park, visiting in summer is particularly beneficial.
