"A very nice hotel , good rooms and superb food and wines. Dover Sole for dinner was magnificent. Wines chosen from their adjacent wine shop ( corkage £10 per bottle ) were exceptional and good prices for Bin ends. Staff were very helpful , polite and very efficient."

Bar prices were cheaper than most of the pubs in Bowness so we drank in the hotel after we had been out for a meal. We were blessed with fabulous weather so having drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake was a very picturesque experience."
