"Lovely room with great views. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Really good quality and nicely presented food. Private reading / games room for guests was a really welcome touch. The only fault was the bad smell from the shower drainage pipes in our room, which meant we had to leave the windows open and extractor fan running all night. Other than that I would certainly recommend."

"Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile."
