"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

Supermarket is close by, aswell as plenty of eating places, Rooms were clean and comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities, there was also a fridge and a safe in the room. I would definatly stay at this hotel again when I return to Cologne "

"Very good location and just across the museum. Staff were very helpful. Only issue we had is the air conditioning as we had to open our windows during the evening to be able to sleep. It was spring so maybe they had to control the temperature."

"Went for a weekend trip to Carnival. This hotel is close to Metro (Barbarossaplatz), and the route of the Carnival. Metro to Central Station was 9-10 minutes at the most, which is next to the Cologne Cathedral. The reception spoke English and were very friendly and accommodating at check-in. "Easy stay, only 10 minute walk to the stations or 20 minutes to the Cathedral on train. The place felt safe and the staff were friendly although they could use another staff member as one person was having to do everything. The room and bathroom was clean."

"Very good location - super central. Especially good location for gay travellers, as it’s in the middle of all the gay venues (10 min walk both sides). It was a bit expensive considering it’s condition, but the room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Service was friendly."
