"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."

"The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

"We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay cottage was beautiful and cosy had everything we needed . We had a week away me husband 2 children and small dog . Lots of lovely dog walks close to shops restaurants and close enough to go into Chester for days out . "We booked this property for a family of 12 as it was close to a family wedding at Chester zoo. The property offers everything, it's spacious, clean and even has a games room to keep the kids entertained. The rooms were good sizes with bathrooms of each of the 3 floors. We also visited blue planet aquarium and Cheshire oaks which were only 20 minutes drive and tried out the local pubs which were good and had an Indian at indivala which was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property."
