The home set up was perfect for 2 families and it was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Communication from the host was great throughout the process of booking to checkout. We loved the game room, the hot tub, and the location. We would book again and highly recommend.
Mews Mountain house is the best house in Albrightsville and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. The quality of the house is second to none. Thank you for providing a great space for our family Thanksgiving weekend and we look forward to returning.
The hosts were very hospitable, super friendly and easy to communicate with! The hot tub with the fairy lights definitely set the mood for a relaxing weekend for my friends. The house felt like a home away from home for a good few days. We would definitely stay here again!
The set up is perfect plenty of room in all the bedrooms, very cozy , kids loved the jacuzzi tub . Highly recommend and definitely plant to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the outdoors .
We were extremely pleased with Mountain Mews vacation home! There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 3 - 67 and we had room to spread out when we wanted. Beautiful furniture, well appointed kitchen, and we loved watching the deer from our deck.
Pros: Easy access to lake and community pool, great deck, plenty of room for 5 adults, loved having 2 1/2 baths, enjoyed hot tub and pool table, plenty of AC for hot summer days
Cons: Slight, persistent damp odor in basement, somewhat weak water pressure in upstairs shower, weak phone signal, one set of hot tub jets not working
Overall it was a wonderful stay. Although it had nothing to do with the house itself, I thought there would be some better mountain views. We are probably spoiled though, living where we live in the heart of the Blue ridge. The house was very nice and comfortable. Hot tub, was nice, but missing some features. Like some of the jets didn't work, and we couldn't get the speakers to work either. All in all it was a very nice stay. I would recommend for anyone that is in the area to come and stay here.
The home is in a great location. Nice neighborhood. Kitchen was complete with everything you need. We had 7 people and it was very well stocked. Plenty of bedrooms. Pool table and ping pong. Plenty of television s. Property was very clean inside and out. Great hot tub. We had a small issue when we first got there. The heat was blasting, and we couldn't figure out how to lower it. We called the property management and they were great. Sent a maintenance worker right away. Problem solved. One of our friends raised a dial thinking it was part of the fireplace, but, it was a thermostat... oops.
We would rent this property again and recommend it to our friends and family.
We have stayed in the poconos often and this house is probably the best one we have stayed in. Great amenities and location and very comfortable/clean. They had a lot of little things that other houses do not typically think of, like phone chargers in the bedrooms.
Our family of 7 adults had a wonderful time. The house was extremely clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The downstairs entertainment room was enjoyed by all. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was great. It was enough room to accommodate 10 of us comfortably. The amenities like the game room was great. My family had a great time playing the video games and a few rounds of competitive ping pong. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare a Christmas dinner. The only thing we wish was better was the water pressure of the upstairs shower. The other couple who stayed in the 2nd bedroom ended up using the bathroom downstairs to shower. Other than that, our stay was great. The little snow storm we had also made the place extra magical.
This was one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed in over the last 15 years! It is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the elevated deck to watch the wildlife… lots of deer and a few chipmunks. There was plenty of room for all the guest to spread out. We enjoyed peaceful early morning walks in this quiet community and the short walk to the lake. It was so nice not to have to pack sheets and towels, but we weren’t expecting such high quality linens. We hope to enjoy this incredible home again!
The house was exactly as promised, very clean and the perfect space for our two families. The response time of the property manager was really fast as well!
House is large and quite comfortable. Primary bathroom updated and lovely. Kitchen and dining area spacious. Had fun playing pool. There were a few issues that within 24 hours texting the mgt company, were addresses. Being timing of stay is spring, HOA beach was not open. Location approx 20 minutes away from restaurants, grocery store and Jim Thorpe. Pro to that is location is rural and quiet. Con nothing close by to do quick trip for treats or food. One note didn’t realize that there were steep steps going from area to enter house inside to the kitchen and living area.

Disliked: Communication, location
1 week prior to check in found out we can't use our kayaks in community lake & property doesn’t allow outdoor smoking or VAPING. Neighborhood is not friendly to renters, even a sign at pool indicates board of ridiculously strict HOA is looking to take over regulating renters. Parking passes & beach badges were not good for length of stay & internet was out. Beach badges are paper wristbands you wear when you’re over 21. Uncomfortable but don’t take it off or you can’t use the pool or lake. Pool small no chairs. Lake lovely but the kayaks to rent as property manager offered as solution were 25 for 90 minutes and every increment of 90 minutes. We love kayaking & planned to bring 3 boats. Like to go out for 3-4 hours at a time. Do the math. Was going to cost over 1k for everyone to have a chance to paddle. House minimally maintainaned. 6 of 8 dining room stools had cushions completely detached or hanging by a thread. One of steps up the deck was buckled & a tripping hazard. Game room was musty and footboard in the primary bedroom was missing a piece of trim that cut me open TWICE because they didn't fix it on 1st report. Still bruised a week later. Property management doesn't know what they're doing & always responded as if it were my 1st ticket promising to open investigation. While they did eventually make repairs and update parking and badges I lost 1st 2 days trying to figure out kayaks . Offered to pay for kayaks then rescinded. We left 4 days early so unhappy!
