"The room was pretty big and with a minikitchen, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, there was a free coffee/tea and apples in a common area, friendly staff, most of whom spoke very good English. The location was walkable and quiet, except on Friday evening, when a bar nearby had loud boom-boom music outside. Importantly, I couldn’t hear the other guests. Absolutely recommend!"

"We had a lovely time. When we first arrived we were really disappointed with our apartment, the balcony was not a balcony! We were on the ground floor - no problem there - but there was a concrete wall instead of balcony balustrade, it was about 5 foot high with only a slither of light coming over, you could just about peer over if you stood on tip toe… I’ve never seen anything like it! However, having said this and to be fair, I went straight to reception and the very lovely receptionist...

"Even before our arrival only the day after cross border travel was allowed the hotel was very helpful explaining how they were operating with "social distancing and health precautions. On arrival and during our stay they were brilliant.....taking every health precautions, but making a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant arrangements were brilliant....the food was excellent, even though they apologised for a " reduced" menu and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Breakfast too was...

"Really lovely hotel, especially the newer renovated rooms. The area around is stunning, with loads of dining and drinks options and the station is just a 2 mins walk. The bus to the lake is easy to catch by the station too and takes 7 mins, so very convenient. The only downside I would say it’s that it’s not made clear that the outdoor pool is only accessible with a spa pass, so it’s worth booking a spa-access room. Otherwise they will offer to upgrade you for 81 euros per night, or buy a 3 hr...
