Rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautiful!! Sliding glass door opens up to private patios. Perfect indoor/outdoor space. Meals are prepared with care and attention to detail. Hotel pool is gorgeous. Location is just far enough away from Ericeira and Mafra to feel peaceful and relaxing but close...

"It is a small 5 stars hotel so we were expecting a great service but our experience was disappointing. We arrived tired and hungry after a long flight, they offered a pool/bar restaurant but we waited an hour for 2 appetizers, was too much!. They also forgot or got confuse making our reservation for dinner, so no restaurant available. Also, if you enjoy privacy be sure to let them know, my husband was trying to sleep when a man was inside our room without first knocking at the door, 10 minutes...

"40 minute commuter train ride to Lisbon. Great option if you want to stay in a quieter place than Lisbon. Hotel is in an old citadel. Short walk to Cascais and dining."

"Friendly staff, quiet area, adjacent to golf course. Recent renumbering of the course meant that tee #1 was no longer adjacent to he hotel. The driving range was a short walk but the clubhouse and first tee were better accessed by car if carrying clubs."
