"Great hotel"

"Unique rooms and friendly staff made it more than a pleasant stay, hotel was spotless and very nicely designed all throughout"

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Very quaint hotel full of character! Was a little hard to find at first but great location for walking around York."

"beautful property with incredible locstion"

"I loved it. Bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10. I am so glad I stayed at this location! 5 min walk to the historic center of town but quiet at the B&B."

"Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!"

"Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to the top Chef leaving. Expedia knew this and didn’t get back in touch with me to let me know or send me an email very disappointed in Expedia .The couple who run the establishment are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent."
