"Comfortable hotel conveniently located"
The Glenview Hotel is conveniently situated just off the N11 near Bray. It has a very pleasant outlook and is very welcoming. The facilities are excellent and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The room was a very good size with a coffee machine and kettle for tea. The bathroom was also a good size and very clean. I enjoyed 2 quiet nights at the hotel and slept extremely well. The extensive breakfast buffet left one with plenty of energy to go off and make the most of the days. I would recommend this hotel to the most discerning guest.

"Good hotel but food not so good"
This hotel is about a one hour drive from Dublin, I didn't see any local transport into the city but as we had a hire car this didn't bother us. We found it easily enough although it did require driving on some narrow country lanes which I am not use to. As we arrived at 11am we couldn't check in straight away but the receptionist was very pleasant and advised us we could go and get something to eat if we wanted to. The room we couldn't fault, it was very large overlooking the golf course and with all required amenities (Iron, Tea making facilities, safe etc.) We ate in the hotel every night as there is nowhere local to go and for us this was a let down as the food was not as good as we would have expected for a four star hotel. We ate in the Elk bar as we didn't really fancy anything on the Lime Tree Menu, we complained on the first night as the food was not very good at all and the manager acknowledge this and was grateful of our feedback, on the second night the food was mediocre, we didn't complain as didn't want to seem like we were moaning all the time and on the third night the food was good . Overall I would say this is a good hotel with beautiful views, clean and spacious rooms very pleasant staff but the food really lets it down.

"Great cottage in a great area of Ireland!"
Aughrim Holiday Village is a group of semi-detached cottages for rent in a beautiful town in County Wicklow. Our unit had all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen, satellite TV and a washing machine. We stayed a week and got to know many people in the town. We were actually sad to leave because it felt like home, with lovely scenery to explore and warm, friendly people everywhere.

"Beautiful Bed & Breakfast in a wonderful location"
The bed & breakfast was easy to find and was located in a beautiful location (very quiet). The owner was very friendly and greeted us at the door. The room was very clean and the view out the window was pretty. Breakfast was plentiful! My husband very much recommends the porridge.
