"A lovely village pub,the hosts where very welcoming, couldn't do enough for you and the food was very good especially the breakfast."

"Lovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didn’t use the pool, fitness centre or spa so can’t comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. We’ll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open."

"A traditional English pub set in the village green in this beautiful village. Walkable to Aysgarth Falls. Great value pub food and nice staff. Overall a lovely stop off for us on the way up to the Scottish Highlands."

"The room was tired especially the carpet which had lots of marks on it. Bed also needs replacing. Excellent bathroom. Housekeeping in the room needs stepping up. Great walking paths."
