"We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trp. Staff were so lovely and really made us feel welcome. The bed however, was so uncomfy. It was a king room but the beds were two beds pushed together and there was a ridge down the middle which made it very uncomfortable and didn't get much sleep as we kept waking up. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Close enough to the centre but also far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the lovely staff...

The hotel itself is also nice but the service was very average and the staff were happy chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers. The restaurant also ran out of some of the options, including steak on a Bank Holiday Saturday evening at 7.30!! Not good. "
