2 night country break, great location on market square, town is great base for the area.off street parking as well. Dined both nights in hotel, very pleased with food.nice relaxed bar/dining space with outside (viewing onto main st) seating.

The hotel is located very close to the A19 near to Yarm, however it is located in the beautiful and tranquil grounds which enjoy stunning views of the Cleveland Hills with only a very low level of noise drifting up from the A19. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We were made to feel both very welcome and comfortable with nothing being a problem. Excellent all round. Lovely big rooms and great staff. Food brilliant for dinner and also breakfast.

good parking, good breakfast, perfect for the train station, good size rooms

As before, Colin and Sandra go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. They are a fountain of knowledge of the local area and it is such a special place to stay. There are lots of little touches that make this place stand out - for example fresh milk for your room every day, little books to read by the window seat, a...
