"Loved it. I was seeing a band in Cardiff and picked this hotel as it was close to the train station. Couldn’t have been happier with the service and the hotel. Not going to claim it’s 5 stars but it met all my needs and the late night bar was perfect for a refreshing drink after getting back from the gig. "

The staff were very welcoming and friendly the only gripe we had was the evening meals were not as good as we thought and the price was a little on the high side given the standard of food but on the flip side breakfast was supurb. Would definitely stay here again."

"I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)"
